FAQ

Over and over, people ask Raul the same questions...

How do you pronounce your name?
Raul. Like Paul, with an "R."

Are you going to eat that?
Yes. Go get your own.

Have you gotten my check yet?
Probably. But it takes about a day or two for Robin to send out the password info.

Why hasn't my check cleared yet?
Because I haven't had time to go to the bank.

Who are your favorite artists?
Masamune Shirow, Vincent Van Gogh, Manet, Picasso.

Where do you get your ideas?
They just come to me. Usually after renting a LOT of adult movies. Oh yeah, and my girlfriend comes up with the really perverted ones. I like her :)

Do you draw from models or use your imagination?
Mostly from my imagination. Occasionally I use photos for reference.

Why aren't there any men in your pictures?
Because the page is called Raul's Sexy Females.

Do you do the pictures in color, or draw them, scan them and color in the computer?
That second one...

What software do you use to color?
Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and 6.01. 7's okay too, but I prefer the way the channels behave in 5.5. Buy it!

I did. So how come I still can't get the shading to come out like yours?
I'm working on a "How To Draw a Sexy Female" page as we speak.

Oh yeah? You said that years ago!
Okay, I confess! At the current rate, it'll be done in 2030. There! Are you happy now?

Do you take commissions?
If I'm not too busy. To see whether I have bandwidth right now, visit the commissions page.

Have you done any comic books?
No. But I hope to.

Are there any other books available of your work?
No, but one of my goals this year is to get the pictures published in book form.

Didn't you say that back in 1995?
Uh, yeah. But this year for sure...

Do you sell prints (or print-outs) of your work?
Why, yes! Check out the Prints section.

Can I post your pictures on my page?
It's okay to post one or two, if you ask. Credit and a link are all I ask.
